Compliance Officer

The role of the Compliance Officer is to ensure compliance with the various regulations in force in his business. He must ensure the compliance of the various activities and process of the company. Thus, he is in charge of rules and codes of ethics of the structure, of their setting up and their verification.

MAIN ACTIVITIES :

The Compliance Officer is the risk management specialist of an organization. These missions therefore consist of:
  • Implement the rules of ethics and internal control;
  • Ensure the company's compliance with the regulations in force;
  • Conduct audits on the various processes of the organization;
  • Fight against corruption, the fraud, money laundering or terrorist financing;
  • Establish and document procedures and methodologies concerning business activities;
  • Train employees in the proper understanding and application of procedures.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

The Compliance Officer must be able to understand the environment and the activities of the company where he works, and the user needs and constraints. He must also:
  • Perfect knowledge of the functioning and internal organization of the company;
  • Possess managerial skills;
  • Have solid knowledge of the regulations to be implemented;
  • Experience in the field of compliance.

EDUCATION:

To become a Compliance Officer, it is necessary to obtain a diploma of Bac +5 (master 2) specialized in finance, economics, accounting, banking law, business law, criminal law such as :
  • Business school
  • IEP (Institute of Political Studies)
  • Engineering school with a specialization in financial engineering
