Computing, telecommunications, new technologies are complex technical fields in constant evolution. This sector is currently booming, the various players on the market must constantly develop internationally and therefore require real experts to support them in this process.
In fact, in 2018, the IT sector achieved a growth of 4.1%
driven by digital transformation.
With a fork included between 55,000 and 59,300 recruitments in 2019, the job market for IT executives should be at the highest level with a 6th consecutive year of increase.
Indeed, "one in five executives" was recruited in IT activities in 2019 ".
It is thanks to a turnover of 56.4 billion euros
realized by companies in the digital sector in 2018 that IT remains a growth sector. That year, 87% of companies saw their turnover increase.
The development of the IT sector is accompanied by job creation for the eighth consecutive year. More than 28,000 jobs were created
between 2017 and 2018, i.e. a 56% increase
compared to the previous year.
On average, a person working full time in the IT and new technologies sector will earn a annual gross salary of € 50,300, that is to say a figure well above the 35 100 € gross annual which is the average salary of all the sectors combined.
As for women, they represent 27.5% of the workforce in the sector. This is still a low figure compared to some other sectors but increasing every year.
In terms of management, 97% of IT companies claim to use agile methods
in their daily lives in order to increase productivity, improve team morale and reduce project costs.
